The Hasselt Living Lab has recently deployed an air quality monitoring station at the Joris van Oostenrijkstraat street kuringen school in Hasselt. The aim behind this activity is to observe the air quality in the school during summer vacations and compare it to normal school days. Air quality will therefore be monitored during July and August and for one month in September when the school will open again. The two sensors of the monitoring station will measure the carbon monoxide (CO), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) and Ozone (O3) and atmospheric particles of different sizes (PM1, PM2.5and PM10). The research activity will give us insights about the possible fluctuation in various pollutant concentrations at different time periods.
Monitor the Hasselt Living Lab site for updates.
