The Kick-off meeting to the living lab “Wandering Trees” took place in Bottrop on the 30th of January 2018.

The event formed the beginning of the living lab and the joint design of the Wandering Trees project. Together with the residents, ideas for the design and implementation of the Wandering Trees were collected and exchanged within a World Café, so that they are actively involved in the process.
The workshop met with great approval among the local residents. Many residents are interested and want to continue participating in the design and the implementation of the Wandering Trees in the future.
Currently the results and ideas are being worked on by the associated one-year study project of the students of the TU Dortmund University.
We are looking forward to a successful cooperation, together with the city of Bottrop and its residents.
